Now available: Gadi Sassoon / Multiverse

Today we released the debut album from Gadi Sassoon, titled Multiverse.

Ever since I plugged this one in, strapped on my headphones and effectively continued to dismantle every neuron in my brain using the plethora of musical tactics Gadi employs in this album, I have been excited to present it to the world.

Look out for a podcast where we aim to go into detail on the story behind the album so you can start to grasp the enormity of the effort, team and people behind the music on this one. but until then, have a listen on Bandcamp or your preferred service, and snap up the dark matter 2LP.

Today we announced the debut album from Gadi Sassoon, titled Multiverse.

I still remember the moment I first sat back and absorbed this demo. I had little idea how it was made or the story behind it (I put the music first) but it blew my socks off. Crazy, unexpected sounds, twist and turns, rooted in a deep sense of atmosphere. It wasn’t until I got back to Gadi and we met up in LA that I started to understand the massive amount of detail, history and effort that went into this album. It’s one-of-a-kind, and for some, maybe a little startling, but for many, it will undoubtedly go down as a future classic in its ambition and innovation. Call it experimental in function, ambient in form and soundtrack in nature - it’s a beast best absorbed in either one of Gadi’s performances, or loud on a great system at home.
