ASIP @ Liminal Dreams, Tokyo

Recording of my DJ set for the Liminal Dreams 1st-anniversary series in Tokyo, March 11th, 2023 alongside @lynne-tokyo, @yolabmi (Live), @yutotakei, and @yutaroy at Spread, Shimokitazawa. Thank you to all who made this evening happen, those who came, listened attentively, shut their eyes and let the music fill the room on an amazing system that Saturday evening.

It really was a special, memorable moment for me.

The set includes lots of unreleased/forthcoming ASIP music, alongside releases from Quiet Places (plenty of their new stuff in here ;-), Max Würden and Merrin Karras, plus some of my fave moments from Field Lines Cartographer, Echospace, qebrµs, Sindh, Jo Johnson, Acronym, Endurance and Wndfrm.

ASIP @ Muzan Editions + Bar Wols, Osaka

I’m delighted to announce a second night of ambient-ish shenanigans in Japan this month, this time alongside the lovey Muzan Editions crew, where Endurance (Muzan founder) will play live and I will be accompanied by Saki and Dérive on the decks at Wols bar in Osaka.

This follows the show a week earlier in Tokyo - more info on that show here.

Head over to Muzan Editions to hear more from their great catalog and a taster of what to expect from Endurance and Dérive. Saki, I hear is normally more in the techno realm and we will be treated to a very special, rare ambient set!

ASIP @ Liminal Dreams 1st Anniversary Tokyo

I’m very excited to be DJ’ing a couple of shows in Japan in March, my first time playing in this wonderful country. A dream come true in many ways, you probably know from my past endeavors how much I adore the culture of Japan, and no better crew to play alongside than Liminal Dreams, who have hosted some wonderful shows over the past year and will be celebrating their 1st anniversary.

You can catch me alongside yolabmi, Yuto Takei, Lynne and Toner, on March 11th at Spread, Tokyo in the awesome town of Shimo Kitazawa (Tokyo).

We are excited to be hosting our second event alongside our favorite Los Angeles (once listening bar now record store) collective, In Sheep’s Clothing Records.

Join us this Saturday, April 9th between 3-7pm at the store for a mini ASIP takeover, featuring guest DJs, complimentary drinks, and exclusive ASIP records and merch.

I’ll be bringing along some location-specific hand-stamped ASIPVA01, as well as previously out-of-stock ASIP titles from my personal collection, ASIP merch + stickers.

We will also be joined by a few TBA ASIP friends spinning records.
